CALMA (Calm) means the same in Spanish and Portuguese. Serenity, pause, rest. It can be a noun, an adjective and even a verb. All of this applies here.

Roberto Domínguez Moro spent almost 20 years at ACER one of the longest-established literary agencies in Spain, before founding CALMA. He has worked extensively with authors for their translation abroad, and also with international publishers, for their translation into Spanish and Portuguese. He attends the Frankfurt and London book fairs regularly, and he was selected for the fellowship of the Seoul International Book Fair in 2021, and the Pro-Za Balkan Literary Festival of Skopje in 2022.
Lucía Méndez Negroni studied Publishing at the University of Buenos Aires, and has been working in publishing for almost a decade. She started at AZ Editora, where she worked for administration, rights and publishing. She was acquiring editor at Urano Argentina and head of the Tendencias imprint from 2022 to 2024. She is currently an editor at Tinta fresca.
